A couple of years ago now, Jerry Lemke, the owner of the Loves Park based shop, and Machesney Park resident Jimmie Meyers entered into an agreement to allow for the purchase of an engine dynamometer.  The "dyno" is housed inside the JAMR shop. 

JAMR has been able to offer their customers more information about the performance capabilities of their engines and provide additional research and development.  These services have kept JAMR engines ahead of the competition on the racetracks and performing at their best in "Hot Streets", antique, and classic automobiles.  Meyers works in the airspace industry and has crew chief experience with many race teams from the drag strip to Rockford, Madison, and Jefferson oval tracks.  Lately, he has led journeyman driver John Reynolds Jr. to the Slinger Speedway Limited Late Model championship.
