JAMR Racing Engines & Dyno Service 5628 Industrial Avenue Christmas party December 19, 2009 6:00 PM and continue through the night!
With the Holiday season fast approaching and as the 2009 calendar nears it's end, JAMR Racing Engines & Dyno Service continues their efforts of assembling high performance racing engines, as well as making plans for their annual Christmas party. There was once again much success on the local short tracks this season. The party, to offer a "thank-you" to the many customers from this year and past, is set for December 19, 2009.
For more than 20 years, JAMR Racing Engines & Dyno Service has left a mark in the regional short track scene and Jon Reynolds Jr.'s team continued that winning tradition this season. Jon set the Rockford Speedway season high record of wins at six. Due to various non-engine related misfortunes, they did fall just short of the season championship - ending up 3rd in the final point tally. The team closed the season well, earning a qualifying "Speeding Bullet" from the hometown track's, end of the year, National Short Track Championship event; before garnering two top five finishes in the prestigious races.
Other racers found success utilizing JAMR power-plants as well. Former Late Model frontrunner Matt Mylin took to the road coarse of Blackhawk Farms, claiming a championship in that endeavor. Scott Lawver guided a Sportsman style racer, and took yet another Bahama Bracket win at Rockford. Also, at Rockford, Nick Cina claimed 3rd in the American Short Tracker season points. Champion Super Late Model racer Steve Rubeck felt JAMR power again, claiming quick time in the LaCrosse 1/2 mile Ocktoberfest limited late model event. Many others also had good results in other racing venues.
All are welcome to attend the Christmas party on the 19th of December. JAMR Racing Engines & Dyno Service provides much of the food & beverages, but everyone is welcome to bring a dish to pass or special beverages. This is all but the last opportunity for any "bench racing" before the end of the 2009 season. Festivities start at 6:00 PM and continue through the night!
